Just finished JDM header install
Started about 8:30 and had to make a quick trip to work to get full threaded bolts and was semi-done around noon. Removing the old header & cat wasn't too bad, just thankful for the breaker bar. It was easy to install, but pulling the header up through was a little tough. After everything was bolted up started the car and checked for leaks..and had one. Seems I either lost or never had the gasket for the b pipe and it was leaking bad. Made a quick trip to Midias and 15$ later everything is kosher. The car is noiser after the header and I can notice a power difference. I am having the car dyno'd on Saturday and will post the #'s then.
I would like to thank Midas, Snap-On( O2 sensor removal tool <-I love it), and R&D Motorsports for the header, cat, and all my pestering them in anticipation or the items.

I just put mine on also and i have a small leak at the cat/b-pipe...Im going to have midias fix that and put on the lower header bracket for me next week because its way too hot to go under my car.

Are you sure you pulled the old donut gasket off the old manifold? Many times it looks like part of the manifold and people forget to pull it off.
nah it wasn't the doughnut gasket, I used a new one since it needed to be 2.5", but the leak was where the cat mates with the B pipe.
Sweet job Lil Casino
I am awaiting TypeRsm to return my damn calls so i can too embark on the wonderful itr header trip
I am thinking about going with the universal CAT and getting flanges to weld onto that sucker

Yea I know IPS Racing is busy..did you try IMing him on here? Having the carsound cat premade made life so much easier for me..all I had to do was bolt it in.
