Default Carbotech NASA contingency

Only for H1 and H4? Not H2, H3 & H5?

WTF!

At least they sponsored H1 and H4! You gotta remember this is the first year of the Championships. If things go well, I bet we will see a larger number of classes getting sponsored.

They are putting out quite a bit of money for quite a few classes!

Yep, current entries look weak now, but I'm pretty sure we'll get at least 10.

Run cobalts, you HU/H2/H3/H5 abandonees.

H2 ITR's ought to use them anyway, they sponsored the ITR Expo too

1st Place = $500
2nd Place = $300
3rd Place = $200

-Chris, running XP12/XP10 next event for the first time... We'll see how that goes...

I don't run their brakes anyway
H2 car with cobalt friction spec VR's, and cobalt will pay us!

Honda Challenge (Hu, H1, H2, H3, H4, H5), American Iron (AI, AIX), Camaro Mustang Challenge, and Spec Miata.

Competitors must use Cobalt Racing branded brake pads purchased directly from Cobalt during the championship race weekend and run 2 Cobalt stickers (one on each side of vehicle) supplied by Cobalt at time of purchase. The contingency program will award drivers a CASH payout in the following amounts:

1st Place = $500
2nd Place = $300
3rd Place = $200

looks like I may have to switch back for nationals.. I'm running carbotechs at this point.. cobalt's mid-race-season production changeover was poorly timed and put me in a bind..

Allan and all,

Just spoke with Dan Puskar, the owner, at Carbotech. He reassured me that all of the HC classes will be eligible for the Carbotech contigency. He also asked me to post this information to eliminate further confusion.

I thought Cobalt had Spec VRs on backorder sort of indefinitely for ITRs?

Guys,

Happy to report that indeed Hu-H5 are eligible for the contingency.

They have a bunch of new compounds now. I wouldn't be surprised if they were already available or available pretty soon.
