Front Tires Rubbing
I've got Rota Slipstream 15x5.5s on my car, with 205/50/15 tires. I also have some H&R sport springs for a .75" drop and improved ride. I get rubbing when I go around corners hard sometimes.. What can I do to prevent this?
I know we had to put some spacers on to get those rims on the car. What size were we supposed to use, if that's the problem?

where does it rub? is it a fender lining that can be removed? can you roll or cut the inner lip on your fenders? ask yourself theses questions while inspecting your wheel wells

... I don't drive like a jackass habitually. I like to do some sharp cornering occasionally when the opportunity presents itself, and I don't like to feel any rubbing.

Both my wheel well linings are removed. What's the best way to pull out my fenders for more clearance?

I had 17's on my 88 SI with the coilovers all the way down and after I went to town on my wheel wells with a louisville slugger rolling on the tires a few times it never rubbed even turning all the way to the side.

How do you mean you went to town on them? Did you bang out your wheel wells with a baseball bat?

Not quite sure on technique , but they put the round bat on top of the tire and pull up a bit working around the fender to "roll" up the fender a bit. Someone here will probably chime in with a bit more info on it. Hell just go where I get my oil changed , those bastards tried to pick up the front of my car by the fenders to get it over the change bay due to the car having a 2" drop. WTF ! I told them to invest in a few peices of 2x8 and thats how I get it in now. Off topic but hell i'm a wind bag

whale flatulence...that's priceless!
but seriously, just break out the louisville slugger. And when the car is jacked up place the bat on the tire and pull out toward the fender being very gentle, and doing it in a rolling motion all the way around the fender=how it got its name.

not sure why your getting the rubbing. I have almost the same setup on my CRX HF no rubbing whatsoever (exit ramps 60mph etc.) running, 15" Rota Circuit 8's, 205/60/15 Drag radials, H&R .75" on MonroeSensatracs. the only difference I see in our setups is maybe the INGALS front Camber Kit that i am using to run positive camber versus the negative camber that is obtained when you lower the car.
Can u tell exactly what is rubbing, I would like to know??? maybe I could help more then.

It probably has more to do with offset.
The first thing I would do is inspect the tire to see where it is rubbing you should be able to see where it is hitting the car.
Once you determine where car is contacting the tire then you can figure out where to roll or massage.
I would guess that your tab on the front fender that held your inner fender liner is what it rubbing. If that is not the case with a baseball bat you want to ROLL the bat on top of the tire at and angle like / with the top part contacting the inner portion of the fender this is a slow process and you must take your time but it is easy. Little by little you will move the lip in slowly. You will slowly roll the bat front the front of the wheel well to the back and do this several several times.
Don't go slamming a bat into the car.

These work very very nicely. I have use one of these on my car and my bro in laws car. I only had to do it in the rear, and I take my car out on road courses and have yet to have the front rub just the rear.
Also it maybe the spring rate. A stock HF will rub on stock tires because of the spring rate when taking it around the road courses.
