Default do 90-91 LS axles work in LS swap? or too big? and how do i tell drivers side?

i picked up a set of LS axles for my LS swap. I am using an LS tranny and intermediate shaft (When i find one). Now i understand that they are a half inch too long. Is this true? should i just dump them? does it make a huge difference?

Everyone I know with either a B16A, B16B, B18B,B18A, B18C, B18C5 swap in their CRX/Civic all use 90-93 Integra axles. You should have no problem at all.

The drivers side should have splines covering the entire part that enters the half shaft. The passenger side has splines just on the top where it enters the tranny.

driver male outlet
passenger female outlet

simplify !!!

EDIT:

automatic axles are reversed, at least 94+ integras are.
make sure you get it from a manual so the hald shaft has the male part on the passenger side and female on the driver side. ( half shaft )

then the axles should be as stated above.

I personally don't like unaltered 1990-1993 Integra axles for EF swaps. First of all, the passenger side axle is often too long. And secondly, use of unaltered 1990-1993 Integra axles requires removal of the sealing rings on the knuckles. This removes one line of defense against dirst and moisture, possibly shortening bearing life. On both of my cars, I used custom axles made from the inner joints from a 1990-1993 Integra and outer joints/shafts from a 1986-1989 Integra. If you have cut JDM axles, the inner joints can be used in place of the 1990-1993 Integra axles. And if you have actual JDM SIR axles, they are the same as these cutom axles. But use the S1 (1990-1993 Integra) intermediate shaft rather than the Y1 (SIR intermediate shaft).
