Im trying to buy a prelude this week i found this one he is asking $16,500 it has 45k miles.

ExTerior:
CF hood, trunk, fenders, sideskirt, greddy lip, SSR 18" forged, rotora BBK

INterior:
jdm leather seats/console, dvd/navigation.

engine:.. intake exhaust. not been turboed

He said hes the first owner.

Worth it?? id take of the fenders and put em stock..

If you're looking for a decent "show" car.....i'd get it; however, if you're looking for something quick - i'd say no.

 

imagine what else you can get with 16.5k. srsly.

imo, i would not buy any prelude over 9k, unless it was a mint 95 prelude vtec with all options and with like 10,000 miles on it.

 

what year is it? it sounds like a lot of money. If you do buy it let me know what you want for the fenders.

 

Tell him to change it to stock and youll give him 10-12k.

what year is it? It looks to be in great condition but i still wouldnt give him 16k for it. Mods dont add to the price of a car in most cases. I'd prolly offer him 10-11K in cash.

 

I agree. in most cases mods only devaluate a car.

the only modified vehicle i'd buy is a restored classic's 60's-80's muscle car.

A modified vehicle shows that its been driven much more aggresively.

they just dont have the pads.

 

$16,500 is way too much for that i bought my 5th gen with about the same amount of miles on it bone stock for $11,000........

 

i could probvably talk him down some money does 14k sound better? it only has 45k miles and he said hes the first owner who knows though.. i should go check it out . im likin the seats though

and honestly...who needs a 4 point takata buckle on oem seats...

and how much lighter can cf fenders be over stock? like 5 pounds? come on.

Not 16. Tell him to take off the mods and give him like 12 or 11 cash.

 

with all the mods is 13k -14k is worth it? it does have low miles.. only thing im woried about is if he has low miles because he crashed it and couldnt drive it for a while

if your worried about that then just take down the vin number and get a car fax report or even better make him do it.

For that price you could get a 3000GT VR4 man

Not even that, he could get something much newer and nicer. But he's obviously interested in preludes. Look for something a little less expensive, that car has had to have been beat on.

 

I would only give him 12,500 MAX! But it does look like a nice prelude.

yes, it's always been a dream to have a brand spankin new 1995 prelude Si-VTEC from factory.

with the topic on hand, i would not buy that car.

 

16,500!?!?! hahaha tell him you'll go buy an M3 that will smoke that car....geez....
