Default Y7 D-series tranny fit Y8?

Im getting rid of my old motor and selling it, i know someone and he just wants the tranny, his car is OBD2 tranny Y8 mine OBD1 tranny Y7 both D-series and i was wondering if my Y7 will fit his car. Thanks for the help.
