I have a 2000 S2000. My CD player will not read a CD. It gives me an E-00 error. The dealership is no help and other vendors say it would be cheaper to replace the system than to fix it. I have processed a CD cleaner to my system with no change. It just seems like this should be an easy and cheap repair. Can you offer any assistance or advice?

 

maybe is telling is time to get a new headunit.

 

please upgrade while you do, stock blows

 

and if you replace with a new head unit, you might need to pick up the Modifry DCM to use the in dash functions with your new unit. Well if your ****, lol

 

The MY00 has trouble reading burned CDs, if that's your problem.

 

my MY00 was fine... but then i dont really listen any music on my S2k ... i rather hear the sound of the screaming engine

 

That's what I said... my stereo's useless now.

 

my 02 Cd player hesitates a lot. it doesn't read songs for a little while and then it starts.

i can't drive without music, i go nuts.

that why i buying his spekers anyways, just get a new headunit ... something like alpine 9857 or maybe 9835 ?

 

u can buy my oem... I used it for one day
