Hi, just bought my 2002 ACURA RSX-S and noticed that my "SIDE AIRBAG OFF" light is on. How do I turn it back on??? Do I need to go to the delearship???

i know there are sensors in the seat maybe one of them is broke but im not really sur though... do u have something laying on the seat???

 

There are sensors in the seat that tell it when there is a person sitting in it so the bag won't deploy unless it has to in an accident. There is nothing wrong with it you just don't have a passenger in the seat. Now if someone sits down in it and it still says it's off then you have a problem but right now you are fine.

 

ohh, yea when some one is sitting on my passanger seat it turns off! I didn't know if it was normal thing or not. Seems kinda odd though ...
