just got a California Water Blade
just went to the auto store and picked up a California Water Blade... this thing is awesome, dries the car in 5 minutes flat, no streaks no spots nothing... I love it! definately worth the $25, i recommend it if you hate those damn water spots or the hour it takes to spot wash your car.

have had mine for a while and love it, it is made with an excellent grade of silicon, and conforms with the body of your car so wonderfully. califonia water blade
i got mine last week. wasn't too impressed with it but it gets the majority of the job done. i just went over with my chamois to get in the little spots like under my spoiler and chit like that. oh yeah.... and i hate the squeeks it makes when you run it over the car
"The Absorber"...best damn Chamoi (Shammy) on the market IMO!
I've had one in the car washing "arsenal" forever...never use anything else!

i got mine for $12 or sumthing at costco for the CA water blade.. it works great IF your car has the aerodynamics of a brick and has no curves and all straight surfaces.. I like my absorber synthetic chamois.. that thing works great...
I paid $10 for my california water blade and I love it. I use it as the pre-dry step. If you just use it and expect the car to become totally dry, then you should obviously be disappointed. The waterblade should be used to remove 95% of the water on the car, then you have to go through and just towel dry it quickly to remove the remaining water. It should be used to make drying much faster and eaiser and not as the only drying step you take.
i'm gonna pick up "The Absorber" tomorrow and see how it performs.. Can anyone recommend a rim cleaner safe for WHITE rims?

AVD: I use simple green on my rims now.. I dont really like using rim cleaners anymore because I was using it once and then a gust of wind blew the cleaner in my face and it literally knocked me out.. the rim cleaner made me nautious and dizzy....
anyway on the CA waterblade.. it takes off a lot of water but it still leaves some.. you have to go over what it didnt take off/pic up w/ a towel.. if i use it.. i have to wipe up what it doesnt take off.. the absorver works great..

nooo...yellow!
But seriously, I think the water blade does a good job, but like others have stated, does not work on every part of the car (e.g. spoiler area). I also wish the handle portion were made up of foam or something soft so it would be more flexible to accomodate the contours of the car instead of banging against it...

where do they sell those absorbers at? i dont really look... so yeah. chamois work good. i think the only reason why you guys go with those california water blades is because youre LAZY.
blue absorber!
You can get one @ Walmart or AutoZone I think... I'm sure Advance Auto Parts has them as well. I love mine.
Here's my dumb question for the day. Is there a difference between the Blue and Yellow Absorber? I have a yellow absorber.
I have the Water Blade too. It's nice, but I think when it starts getting hot, that it won't work as well. Also, I wasn't careful with it one time, and ramed my spoiler, and left a mark on it (came of with polish). Anyway, The Water blade works GREAT on my truck. It has a shell, so I have a huge flat area... perfect. Integra not too bad, CL (moms car) doesn't work so well...

Your best bet is to use the CA water blade, then blow out all of your seams with a leaf blower to get that water out to prevent dripping and then go over it with a chamois.
Who makes p21s, and how expensive is expensive?
I use this stuff call Espree on my rims. My rims are pearly white when I am done
I have tried several, even simple green. The problem I have with them is they clean well, but don't rinse very well. I don't like having to go over them again. On white rims this is a big issue. Some leave a slight residue also. You can pick up a bottle at Autozone.
