So since I no longer work at the shop i used to, though still have a key, i seldom have access to their garage space due to it always being occupied by customer cars. And since I couldnt stand parading around a car that looked like a baboon's left ******** any longer, a quick revamp was of the utmost importance. I asked a friend to rent me out her garage, since her fam never used it. All i had to do was clean out the useless junk a lil, and it was mine. I agreed.

I thought the bodywork on the car was gonna be enough work, little did i know what lay ahead of me..


Here is the garage... before (yes, that is to the ceiling)






Same garage... 3 s10 bedloads, 18 garbage bags, & 13 lonely hours later













After she saw what i did with it, she felt too bad to charge me rent and now i get to use it for free til i need to.

<FONT SIZE="7">UPDATE 1</FONT>: Tore off sides, ripped apart front bumper, started bodywork on trunk.













<FONT SIZE="7">UPDATE 2</FONT>: Started to grind off 1/4" thick layer of bondo as well as attack a few lil dings.










Air ride wiring was a rat's nest that consisted of mostly cheap speaker wire, so i started to tackle that, too:

then too this...



soldered in some new primary wire...



and ended up with this garbage.

what are your plans for the DSM? some 96-98 stock bumpers would be the first step IMO

 

97-99 bumpers and stock sides. sides right now are molded on, so thats gonna suck, and shave the trunk lid since theres about 6 holes

this things air ride equiped too, lol
