Welp I dunno how to explain it....but as of yesterday the clutch feels spongy but only at the one inch of travel closest to the floor board.....So I will step on the clutch and it feels fine until its about one inch from the floor and when I press real slow I can feel small increments of pressure.....like it's smooth until that point then it feels notchy.....feels like the springs on the clutch binded or something....it's a ACT Heavy duty pressure plate and street disk....It does make a kind of squishy noise at the bottom inch too....and the problem is not noticeable when the car is off.

 

when was last time clutch was changed?

are you having difficulty shifting?

best bet would be to inspect your lines and cylinder before you take off the tranny.

 

Clutch has maybe 3000 miles on it if that.......and no problems shifting at all....just the squishy feeling at the bottom of the clutch travel.....seems like that noise is a spring....but could that just be noise and no problem???

Or does noise = problem???
