Stainless Braided Brake Lines?
Just wanted to know if anyone has used -4AN size brake lines instead of the -3AN size. I've searched and the only things to come up are -4AN used for oil lines. Is it still safe to run the larger size?
I'm removing my ABS in my GSR and wanted to run SS braided line to the MC and front brakes. It seems that theres a wider variety in line/fitting styles in a -4AN as opposed to a -3AN, thats why I'm asking.

No you want to keep the -3an lines. Why in the world would you want to go larger? Thats only going to allow for more flex when you put your foot on the brake. You are not just buying the fittings and lines yourself and putting them together are you. You should only use crimped and pressure tested fittings. Most lines also have plastic around the first couple inches of line as well to prevent wear from moving back and forth where the line connects to the fitting.
