will that part work on getting differential bearings off a d-series trannsmission? i just got them in, alot earlier than i expected, i would like to put my transmission back together

I have def. used those type of splitters to pull differential bearings before but, I used a hydraulic press. I don't see why that setup wouldn't work though.
