they are about $850 with taxes for all four

Spoons and Mugens are about $500-700each depending on the size and type

sorry.....

i don't know my wheel sizes..

so it's not 15.x7.......

don't go local. they jack up the prices. u can get rotas for 100 each shipped off groupbuycenter.

so don't pay more than 160 each.

I've noticed some really outlandish prices by Toronto vendors..

the $2500 I was quoted for a Haltech E6K, $600 Mugen Strut Braces, etc...

Its ridiculous..no wonder many Torontonians sucomb to rice boy trends..its just hard to phathom paying these prices.

Yikes, even if that's Canadian dollars, that's high. GRM has a little story on Rota that mentions that the Slipstream list prices are US$150 for 15" and $180 for 16", but mentions resellers have them for less. GRM mentioned a Miata shop (rspeed.net) that had the 15" for $125 including hub ring, valve stems, center caps, and lug nuts. Also, another thread in here pointed to a web site that has the 15" for $450/set with free shipping (machiii.net).

Note: I can't vouch for either vendor -- know nothing about either one.

just wonder how the slipstreams stand up to track usage
and slipstreams V.S Spoon's

i know the price is one big factor, and quailty. but how much better are the spoon vs. the slipstreams?

i need to get some new rims ASAP so the more input the better.

my number one choice would be the Mugen MF10's but it's so hard to get(wait for like few months) and the prices is just crazy for us toronto R owner's
>_<

The writeup I mentioned was in GRM -- that's Grassroots Motorsports, a mag all about track usage. They say "The heart of the company still seems to be rooted in motorsports, as Rota supports several Pacific Rim teams." Later it says "The eight-spoke Circuit 8 and the five-spoke Slipstream are both becoming common sights at American autocross and track events."

So, I'd say they're probably okay for track usage.
