d16a6 from CRX into Civic - wont start
Firstly I tried searching, but cant find a proper thread.
So I took my D16A6 out of my 1988 CRX SI.
I put it into my brothers 1990 Civic SI.
It wont start.
Got fuel, got spark.
The intake manifolds were different, and there's more hose input's on the CRXd16 then on the Civicd16. I do have them all hooked up though the way I believe they should be.
When I turn the keys the check engine light starts blinkin incredibly fast so I'm guessin it's throwin a code more then likely due to the IM.
Also, there were 3 connectors on the rear, 1 double connector and 2 singles, and they have no place to plug in on the CRXd16 IM.
So, do I need to change the IM's or what might be the problem?
I'm gonna check the ecu for codes, and I'll take pics of how I have the hoses going.
Otherwise I just figured I'd post something early in the problem, so I can go f with it and come back to get you guys feedback.
(BTW I know I'm a dumbass for not checkin the engine's to make sure they were exactly the same i.e. IM)
