HAHAHA yeah now I'm aprt of two groups. I own a 95 civic hatchback and i just bought a 88 dx hatch. For $100 and it runs awsome. It's a light blue, with 200,000 miles on it and some rust. It was an awsome deal that I couldn't pass up. Right now we are bondoin' the f--- out of it and then painting it all black. However, I really don't need another car but my brother does. Well hes got enough summer rides, but he needs a winter ride. In the summer he pimmps it in his brand new 2002 chevrolet S-10 Xtreme, which he just put a 2" drop on it so I don't think it is going to be anywhere near the snow. Also his other summer ride is a 2000 Suzuki TL1000R which right now has 1" black fur on all the fariens, and it is also for sale. So if your intrested in that. So basically I'm going to sell the 88 ahtch to my brother for like 200 or somthing, but the seats are pretty bad anyone got any 88 civic seats in good condition, 89-91 don't work though Do any integra seats fit in this 88 hatch??? I wil post pics when i have a chance so that you can all drool over my $100 civic that runs great.

 

1989-1991 seats don't work in a 1988 HB? I have never tried using them. But I don't see why they wouldn't work. It seems like the MOST you would need to do to make them work is use the 1988 rails.

 

88 AND 89 seats will work. both DX and Si. but anything's possible.

 

casue we tried to fit 90 civic seats in and we got nothing. I will look at the rails but there prety tightly squeezed on the 88

 

i have a 88 and u need to use the 88 seat pans with teh newer seats just take off the 2 bolts on the side and the big allen key of the other side take off the cushions and swap bottoms thats it really really easy

 

better make sure you cut ALL the rust off...or else it will come back to haunt you....that stuff grows like a virus

 

Yeha we did mostley, but its going to be a winter car for my brother. It has been sitting in my drive way for liek a week now untouched
