Default question for the EFers!

i have a 90 crx si, i'm planning on doing an Ls swap with a b16 tranny. the only mods will be a 2 1/4 catless piping to a stock muffler, pr3 pistons and a 4 puck clutch with ligten flywheel. can anyone try to estimate the times i'll get on the quarter mile? thanks.

For making a bench racing thread you'll blow your axles up on your first pass, it's the truth.

um benchchair race huh? well i guestimate 15.8 tops if you have never done the 1/4

that wont need a 4-puck i mean a dual friction sport will be more then enough for that setup. unless you like your dash to shake violently?

I thought my prelude could do 15.0. Guess what, it did 14.8. It's hard to know what times you get. Here are the BASIC factors in 1/4 miles times:

-Shape of engine
-Mods
-Tires
-Weight
-Weather
-Condition of track
-Amount of glue layed down
-Driver's ability to shift/react/launch

There is more, but those are the huge factors. There is NO way anyone can give you an accurate guess. I'll ball park 15.7. But you could run 15.0 or 16.5 for all I know.

These threads are stupid. Hey guys, I plan to turbo my EF and I wanna know what 1/4 mile time I'll get too!!! YAH!.......................
