i got the car for 300 bux and its relatively clean. i really dont care about it much so i was thinking of cutting the roof/door pillars off. come winter id part the motor /tranny and scrap the chassis. how much welding and reinforcement do you think id have to do under the car to keep it stiff as stock or acceptably close?

Yeah but mine has rust holes in it big enough to stick children through. Pimpwagon says it is a clean car. If it is a clean car please do not cut the top off. Find something that is beaten and bruised like I did and then have some fun.

And welding in reinforcements are going to be a job. You will need lots of them cause the car is going to fold in half. Why do I know this, well lets say the CRXster folded in half.

 

 

as much as i hate/don't want to say this, i kinda like it...Its looks more like a pickup truck than the ridgeline

 

sadly i saw a geo metro in an apartment complex that looked pretty much the same as that...i love convertibles, i guess the sedan would be the better choice than a hatch anyways...do what u want to man, its your car

If the body is clean, pleeease don't hack it up. Up here you can get rusty hondas anywhere, rust-free EF's are always 'imported' from down south and forgotten storage spaces.
