I just bought a 5th gen random technologies cat. i know they are different but i figure i could take the car to a good exhaust shop and they should be able to make everything fit with some cutting / messing around.

my question is how much longer is the 5th gen cat? i tried a small search but it really didn't answer my question. right now i kind of don't want to cut into my greddy header or RSR exhaust. but for this cat to work properly, i guess one of them is going to go.

 

I have a 92 Si and I dropped in an H22A4 and the downpipe for the header ended up being about 10 inches (or so) short of the cat.....so I guess that means that the 5th gen cat is longer?

Anyone out there to verify this?
