Default General TIG welding information.

I see a lot of tips being posted in different threads. I figured it would be good if there was one thread just about TIG welding. Anyone that would like to share information such as:

*Pros and Cons to different tungsten sizes.
*Effects of different cup sizing
*Effects of different torch angles
*Torch angles, filler feed angles and positioning, and joint type in conjunction with eachother
*Flow rates of gas depending on other factors such as material welded, cup sizes, etc.
*Filler rod diameters in conjunction with material type, thickness, joint type, amperage being used.
*Material of filler rod used for different types of metals being welded.
*Pros and Cons to using a gas lense
*Coloring or any other visible effects of a good weld on different metals.
*Experiences and opinions with different brands of torches, tungsten, cups, etc.

Post any useful information. This should be a great thread for those trying to get into TIG welding but don't have time, money, etc, to take a class.
