*Pic Request*
Has anyone ever stripped down a set of slips to bare metal, and left it like that? If so, post a picture if you have one. I got stuck with a set of black slips, and I hate them on my red car.
Its been done before. I just searched for polished slips or polished slipstreams and came up with a bunch of threads. Some are for sale threads but most post pics of the wheels and of the car they were on.
Sorry but honestly I don't want to do the dirty work for you.

Hah its cool. Ive seen polished slips, I was just wondering what they looked like just bare aluminium. H-T Nashville is coming up, and I dont want to be rolling around on some bobo-*** black slipstreams that everyone has. I gotta so something that is remotely different...if that is possible, lol.
I had some great looking wheels on it, bronze 16" circuit 8's. I had to let them go becuase they were part of the deal when I sold my champ. white DA.
Oh well.
I guess Ill try looking a little harder

Ok, Im a very very dumb person..lol. I forgot to use the "archived" parameter in my search, I realized my mistake and came up with this:

The image links are broken, but it appears everyone liked them.

Do you know if getting aircraft stripper on your tires is bad? Im not worries about a lot getting on there, but is it something you need to try to avoid completely? Will it hurt the integrity of my tires?
