em racing good, bad, bling, function...? whats your take?
I have been seeing alot of peeps rocking the em racing c-piller bar, strut bar and cross member bar is this really worth the $400? Im putting a 4 point autopower in my hatch will this be of some use? It looks well made and solid stuff but is it more bling then function. What do you guys think?

Theres no way that Miracle X would come close to a true roll bar as far as stiffness is concerned...plus the X costs more...gotta pay to shine I guess.

i no that it wouldnt compare to the autopower im saying for the bling and maybe some light stiffness over the em racing i would rather get the miracle x if i was going for bling. but i rather go for performance in the end. because i know if i had that bling instead of performance. i wouldn't be happy with what i paid for. plus for that price i rather add a chain to it and wear it on my neck.

anyone else? seems we have concluded that these bars are pritty pointless... so why is everyone rocking them...must be the damn bling!!!
pretty much.
i'm sure they help if you go from stock to the bars...... but why spend that loot when an autopower would work so much better?

Damn, I was hoping those bars might actually make a difference (besides making your rear look like a jungle gym)
On the other hand, what can actually be done to help stiffen up the rear? I'm still extremely green, but I'm starting to enjoy learning about chassis tuning.

I have an autopower bar in my CRX, I decided to get just the c-pillar bar for my CRX as a buddy had the whole EM setup and noticed less creaking coming from the rear hatch are. ANY CRX owner knows that the rear hatch creaks like a ***** and sometimes woun't shut right if on an incline. Especially after the car is lowered with tight suspension.
So anyways I decided to install the c-pillar bar and def noticed the rear hatch creaking gone and less rattling. So I say the bars do some good but better off spending the cash initially on a real cage/rollbar.
