i've never heard of a Victor X manifold. But I know for sure that the skunk2's are great and are even said to have slightly better flow than the type R mani's.
Hope this helps

get the skunk2 for street strip
victor x for race - its for high rpms above stock redline, but still makes power.

I saw a post from someone who had the victor x cant remember when, he said the power is on the top end but it pulled pretty damn good when it got there, just like it was suppose to do.

sup... the victor x manifold is made by 2 conjunction companies JG/Edelbrock....if u go to the website...www.edelbrock.com...u can see a dyno plot of a turboed car using the victor X...as u can see....power is madein the higher portion of the rpm range. I forgot where the skunk 2 started making power......for turboes that is.....peace

X manifold only makes good power between 7 and 10 thousand rpms. If you don't spend a lot of your time there, go with Skunk2.

for the street and NA application SKUNK2 is as good as it gets,

the JG intake can be beneficial only if the motor is very hardcore race spec and sees nothing but 7-10k rpm all day long....and only time its out of boost or vtec is when its off....

JG intake would most likly work very well with TODA killer cams or boosted motor....

as far as price its only $50-80 difference not much as far as cons there

The Skunk2 is really the only manifold made with N/A in mind. All of the others are geared toward turbo applications. You can tell this by the dyno plots they put up... (of course, it's rare that they do).

Heard nothing but good from people that have the JG on their FI honda's. I've got one and will post up how I like it once I get my injectors in and do some tuning.

so do this consensus is that the victor x will work better on a boosted motor? The reason i ask is i am definatly going turbo, right now i am running nitrous for the time being.

STR went out of business their IM is now made by golden eagle (the people that do the sleeves). If you want one do a search for my screenname I started a post and their is some info about it in there. It is a turbo only application.
