i searched already and got mixed answers,,some say it works some say no way,some say that some of the pinouts are different,,,etc.....

So i need a definate answer,,Will an 89 crx si engine harness plug into a 91 crx hf without modifications and work and all that? need answers from people that have actual experience thanks

However, you can't swap in a motor that's older than the chassis. That's a Federal emission law.

 

Answer from people with A LOT of actual experience:

No, an HF and SI harnesses are not interexchangeable, it may plug in just fine, but it will not work.

It could be modified to work, but the modification is not the easiest one if you don't ave wiring experience. Still - if you are adventurous, you might try. I don't know if I kept my old recoerds though...
