Hey guys ... My friend and me did a motor swap on my 91 DX today and come to find out I have all bigger piping from the cat to the axle and then the stock exhaust - axle back - takes over... the piping diameter seems to be 2-1/4 or 2-1/2"

Seeing how it is not really feasable to replace perfectly good piping ... I just wanna get a nice axle back.
Any suggestions ??

 

I have Thermal Racing exhaust, has its own sound,nice and raspy, sounds kinda mean

i wish i had one to give ya, but it was on my car when i bought it, ill look through the reciepts they gave me with the car and see waht i can do for ya

 

but imma warn ya its REAL expensive

thanks for you help, but I am more looking into the whole axle back thing rather then entire catback

 

Try ebay, they had a nice OBX axle back exaust, and the OBX exhaust soudns really good, both my buddies have it on their cars, ones one a VW golf GTI VR6 and the other ones on a supra, they sound real good

OMG, hell no, those sounds AWFUL!

 

the dynomax axle back sounds great, not loud, mellow but deep, sounds good, its like 180 bucks from an advance auto

 

hm... any info on it ?? piping diameter and such

 

well i will go to advance auto tomorrow and if they have one I will get it
