Default Suggestion

I need someones opinion whos mechanically inclinded. Last week ky car died on me seems that one of my plugs for HID lamps decided it wanted to wedge itself between my timing gears and my valve cover. I cant decide if i want to take it to a shop and have the heads worked or should i just find some heads online to buy. If i pick the later of the two I really have no idea of a decent place to order such items. One major factor is the $1000 that a shop is trying to charge me to fix the bent vales and set my timing. Now that that is out of the picture on the my questions. Does $1,000 see like a decent price for the work and whats a good place to order parts online. Any help that you ppl can give me would be greatly appreciated.

Oh yeah my car is a 93 Integra RS with Vtec heads.

Default Re: Suggestion (deinon)

so its pretty much is a LS-vtec. Find a local import-tuner shop and a "respectable" shop to do head work. If it was me? I get a Haynes manual and start learning. :D
