hello i was wondering if someone could help me...

I have a 2001 ITR.

I am currently building a custom turbo setup on it.

I have a Garrett T04 turbo and starion intercooler and bunch of other goodies

I have a Ericks 70mm TB and STR intake manifold

what piping should i use for the intercooler to the TB

what piping should i use for the intercooler to the Turbo

Will it hurt if i go with 3" piping or will it help???

the 2.5 pipe i have seems too small to go to my TB

2.5" should be fine from intercooler to TB. bigger isnt always better. But since you have a starion intercooler, something like 2.25" would be better for moderate boost levels. 3" is jsut too big for that intercooler

well i am in the process of modifying the end tanks for a side exit rather then the starion top exit....I plan on making the end tanks open up more cause the starion like you said is only about 2.25.... Even by doing that you still think that i should shy away from 3" Only cause it seems like that TB and manifold would be starved with a 2.5.... but thats only my logic, thats why i ask cause i would appericate a second opinion

 

Most kits use 2.25" piping. I used 2" and stepped up to 2.5 after the IC.
