she just got into photography, and decided to buy a camera.. she got.. a Canon PowerShot A430.. she took a few pictures.. and just wants your opinion and suggestions....

Was the camera in macro mode? seems like the pictures could be sharper... pretty bland overall to be honest though... they need more color, and more interesting compostion IMO.

Yeah Macro helps. Nice pics though. She should try some different angles, differet light. Just be creative! Professional photographers take a crap load of pics, and only a few turn out the way they want.

yeah, the pictures look plain and dull. she needs to be more creative. flower shots are so common that it is hard to be unique with them.

Yea.. right you're just taking pics of flowers and don't want to be known as a nancy boy.

Pics aren't too bad.. for the ones that arent super zoomed try keepin all the petals in the shot

yea she posted, on that access photo site to get more commons..

I'm not expert I think they look pretty nice, considering that was the first day she got the camera... first day owned a camera.. first day acctually used a digital camera lol

she thanks for all the info... photoshop wouldn't be her friend..... she has a celeron 1.3ghz, with I think 128mb of ram... "laptop"

Photoshop, Neat image, & a Tripod would help ALOT. Good start tho, helluva lot better than my first snaps..
