HPDE Event - CMP - July 8th & 9th
Hey Everyone,
It's been a while since I posted here. I wasn't sure if this was allowed (sorry mods), but I wanted to let you guys know about a HPDE event at CMP, July 8th & 9th. The cost for the weekend is $300. If you are interested in registering for the HPDE, please click here: https://www.sptevents.com/step1.php
It started out as an evo only event, but I decided to open it up to everyone.
For more info about the event, please click here: http://www.sptevents.com/
Hope to see you there!
Thanks
Ali

P.S. - I forgot to mention that Seat Time will be running the HPDE.

Good luck w/your event. I have only been to CMP a couple of times, but had a good time.
It's a challenge to your memory cells, and sometimes a challenge to your brakes, but rewarding overall. The bump in the kink can give you quite a wakeup if you're not prepared or if you get shoved over it the wrong way.
Fun, overall. People should go there more often than they do.

Thanks for the advice George.
I've been a Summit Point attendee for too long and I wanted to try something new. Last HPDE event I attended on the east coast was in a raced prep'd 00 si. Now I'm in a 400hp awd bat out of hell. Should be fun!

I'm not sure 400 HP will do you a lot of good at CMP.

Really? From what a few people have told me that the more hp you have the more fun CMP will be. In any case I'm sure driving an awd car will be a different experience then a fwd.
hmmmmmmmmmmm.....would be fun to come out and hurt a bunch of egos in a civic....but i'll be there the following weekend, instructing for nasa se
Chad you should come out, bring some friends.
as far as HP, CMP has a lot of horsepower sections, the "autocross section" as peole like to call it is really a bunch of drag strips with tight right handers.
Mid corner speeds in those sections range from 45mph to 51 depending on the car, so there isn't a lot to be gained from handling, but there is from acceleration.
