96 salvage title V6accord...what is it worth?
I have a 96 V6 accord that I'm tired of fixing and am thinking nof selling it. I was hit in the front driver side and both bags were deployed. Hood and front fender were replaced with Honda parts. I put in projector headlights, replaced two doors, did some body work and it's pretty much done excpet it needs a driver side airbag and a little bit of body work. The car only has 45,xxx miles on it and runs great.
Any idea of what I could get for this car? I would probably need at least $2700 to break even. I know I would probably be better of just fixing it and selling it but I just don't have time and am tired of looking at it!!

you may want to read the Accord Forum Rules real quick.
I know the rules I just don't know where to post this. I didn't want to post it in any of the for sale forums and thought maybe some Accord experts on this forum could help me out.
ok, just letting you know since rule 9 says "Do not ask us how much your car is worth either. These threads will also be deleted/locked."
I'm not sure where to put it though. There is a FS/WTB thread at the top of the Accord forum. Maybe there?

car needs to be independantly appraised. With the airbag missing you are going to take a large hit and it is NOT ROAD WORTHY and WILL NOT PASS any STATE INPECTION.
Typically salvage title = 50% retail value. Post up some pictures so we can see what it looks like. I bought my 1994 accord that was rebuilt from salvage for $5000 when they were worth about $9000 at the time. On a 10 year old car rust is common so I would not be too worried about it.
If the car is reliable and you are fixing little stuff ask youself if it is worth a car note versus fixing stuff.
