O2 sensors

I have a 99 Accord, 4 cyl, LX, manual. Does anyone know if there is a material difference between the front O2 sensor (at the manifold) and the rear sensor (on the cat. converter)?

Pretty sure the sensor itself it the same thing. The wiring is just diffrent.
The real question is why do you need to know?
