HOw to adjust ignition timing with plain timing gun??
i tried searching but none of the topics help me...
i a beginner adjusting timing with a plain timing gun...
i did it b4 with one with the degrees rite onn the gun
but never did it on a plain one..
well
im trying to set the the timing to oem specs on a 90 accord ex.
which is 15 2+/-
and i know u gotta jump the service connector..
but i dont know wut i have to align...
do i align the notch with the red line on the plate???
cuz thats wut i ended up doing but the dizzy looks
like its still more on the retarted side...
is this rite???

there should be four notches on the crank pulley, 1 separate which = TDC, and three others | | |
You want the timing mark to match up with the center notch of the three lines after jumping the service connector.
