Just got a 98 accord, introduction
i just got my self a 98 accord and i love it. I bought this one https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1630236 . So i used to own a 2000 honda prelude and i supercharged that and ran a custom pulley to 12 psi of boost and hondata system, the works. And i got tired of that and turboed it instead and everything was great until i got a smog ref ticket and had to take everything off. After that i got out of the honda scene. I have had 2 300ZX twin turbos but im getting out of the racing scene until i graduate and can afford to break parts. So now i just have this great mpg daily driver that i plan on leaving as is except for a few suspension mods.
Which brings me to my question. Is this a 5th gen accord?? Also i wanted to work on it myself does anyone have a good site that i could learn how to change my own timing belt etc. The suspension on this thing is very very bouncy. I believe its a no name sleeve over setup. I wanted to keep the same height drop and go with springs so the ride isnt as harsh, what do you guys recommend?? Any one know how to remove white water spots from the hood?? Also how do i quiet down the loud humming from the cold air intake???
Anyways awesome car, big thanks to the seller. Going to rack up miles on it commuting to school.....

Koni Yellows and GC's are really good for ride quality, that's the route I'm going. That's a 6th gen, 5th is 94-97. For the CAI noise, really your only option is stock, any air cone you toss on will hum. As to water spots, clay bar? I just did that to my accord last night and it turned out beautiful
well your using Dropzone springs..they're crap....Tociko shocks are good IMO get some better springs H&R or skunk 2s will do nicely...clean car btw..you'll be back in the racing scene soon enough

I used McQuire's clay bar and worked awesome, came with a terry cloth towel, little sample car wax, 2 bars , and the lubrication liquid. I'd highly recommend that one.
Eibach's what's on the GC's so it gets my approval
