6th Gen. Accord header / 2.3CL Header question
I have been trying to use OEM parts to make slight modifications to my 2000 Accord DX, currently about to get a TL-S front sway bar and 17mm Accord v6 rear sway bar... but back to the topic.
When browsing the Honda/Acura Parts Catalog, I noticed that the 6th Gen Accord header style is 4-1, while the 2.3CL is 4-2-1. Would the 4-2-1 style result in any gains, or would my theory of gaining some midrange to top end horsepower while losing some low end torque happen?

I have a copy of the 2002 electronic parts catalog, let me see if I can get a picture up. The thing about the F23, I knew that, that is why I am confused and asking about the header.
they both appear to be 4-2-1. A 4-2-1 header will offer more low-end power. Sometimes certain trim levels of cars have a 4-2-1 header( 92-95 civic ex/si) and the lower trim level ( civic dx) will have a 4-1 header. I do not know if this is the case w/ Accords and Cls.
the accord only has a single outlet from the exhaust manifold, while from the pics you posted it looks like the CL has 2.
4-2-1 generally has better low and midrange, while 4-1 usually has better power up high.
why not get an aftermarket tubular header system tho instead of crappy stock cast pieces if you're considering the change?
