i need some help on what to do with d16
i truely dont know what to do. ive looked at so many diff. cars im just torn between what to do first.
i dont have a lot of money but i really want something quick and fun to drive.
i have a 98 civic with a d16. i would really like some help/gudelines to follow.
so far all i have is a custom magaflow catback. and some konig 17' rims. i plan on getting a AEM cold air soon but...still saving.

Intake, header and exhaust will give you a couple of extra ponies (generous)BUT.. you will lose them with the 17's. Heavier rims = a slower car, weight reduction is key. Save your money and put togeather a budget turbo kit (check homemadeturbo.com). Without one your d series will be forever slow.

Not forever slow, just not "quick enough." The easiest way for the novice D-man is to add boost. It makes you happy, and if you break it...oh darn. Do you have the D16Y7 or the Y8 in your car?

head design, cams, and fuel injection are different. it will cost you ruffly about 6-700 to have a decent setup. The price goes up from there. If you don't have that type of cash, just buy the bolt ons and help free up some extra power.
