injector swapping
i have an 88 crx hf with a d16a6 swap (si). what injectors can i swap from another honda that would give me a boost in hp?, what will bolt in and give me more fuel?? ive tried finding it on HT but couldnt find this question...thx
Injectors won't give you more power. In fact, injectors of different sizes will seriously expletive up your performance. You should be using 240cc injectors that came with the d16a6 unless you want to eliminate the resistor box and use obd1 240cc injectors.
so there is no way i can put in a prelude or accord injector and it wont give me more fuel and increase hp? im tryin to find some easy ways to gain hp i have an integra parts car, engine is apart. its a b18a1, anything i can get off of there and put on this one to make it better?
You might be able to physically put the injector in, but more fuel will not magically increase horsepower. It will, if anything, make the car run like ****, and if you put the h22 345s in your car will prolly be spitting gas out the tailpipe.
lol, dang, appreciate it man, i got some stuff comin for it, just tryin to find a few extra things i could maybe to do it, i have ordered a stage 3 and lightweight flywheel, it has a bomz high flow intake and a 4-2-1 header, its a si engine in a stripped hf, u have any other suggestions i could do to it? last question i promise...
