I can't recall a v8 honda engine, to my knowledge, or an engine with an excessive amount of valves, so I'd say no.

Hermosillo's a wicked town, by the way.

the only thing close to that, that i can think of is the 3.2 liter v6 honda/acura made... pretty sure it has 24 valves though

Hmm , I did hear a rumor that alot of the indy cars were Honda powered.
With none production high performance V8's. I have no clue if it is true though.
I could swear I saw it on the discovery channel .

Wouldn't 36 valves be a 9 cylinder motor?

Wow , i feel like a tard !
Anyway Honda does produce V8 as well as V10 engines for Indy as well as Le Mans car's. They have about a 18 Million dollar price tag though , that's what I got out of google anyway.

That's an awfully weird number, I would think not. Would be either 9-cylinder, 4-valves per or 6-cylinder, 6-valve per. Neither are at all likely.

Honda has only made a 2 VPC (valve per cylinder), 3 and 4. VW has made a 5, but went back to 4. I haven't seen anything else with anything higher then 5 in regular production that most people can get there hands on.

Honda has only made 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 8 and 10 cylinders. The 8 and the 10 being Indy engines only. 1 and 2 being there 'small' engine (bikes, seadoo, lawnmower, ect.)

How many cylinders though. VW mad a 20v engine. 5 VPC engine.

My bad on the 3 haha. I missed it, but you get the point. Honda has made just about every type of engine. I wonder how much Honda could squeeze out of a I6.

What about the vigor. It is an I5. How many valves does it have?

I have heard rumors that most NASCAR engine programs use NTK bearings. Suprising how foreign these NASCARS are becomming.

I wanna see the Skyline in NASCAR. That would be frickin awesome!

4VPC, that's 20V. It's not the amount of valves, or the amount of cylinders, it's the amount of Valves Per Cylinder. That's what this thread is about, how many VPC and how many valves in total has honda made there engines with.

And you must rule out the Indy engines. Cause I'm pretty sure the OP was asking about production engines.

VW 1.8T 20v, five valves per cylinder. Four cylinders.

Ferrari has 5 valves in 360 Modena.

Honda F1 has a V8 engine.

That's what I thought. VW has one too, but I've already said that like 4 times in this thread. That's the max VPC I've ever seen. I doubt there is more, since the flow in the head would be odd.
