XM Satellite Radio Install
I got a used Delphi SkiFi XM Satellite radio on ebay with the Vehicle adapter kit and FM modulator. Actually two, one with the old large antenna, and one with the new smaller one. I am gonna hook up the FM Modulator under the dash someplace, and mount the antenna on the passenger side of dash, I suppose.
I need to find a wire to tap for the power. On my 98 CL, Best Buy must have hooked it to an ignition wire, and if I didn't turn the radio off before powering off the car, the next time I started, a lot of static emitted, as the XM doesn't come back on. Over time, I learned to turn the radio off.
I suppose what I want to do can't be done? Have the receiver come on automatically? Alas.
What wire should I tap into, anyway?
P.S. Thanks for reading the ramblings of a deranged mind!
