Couple FIT questions, and pic request
im looking for a couple open interior pictures that i can look at for reference, they are hard to find since the fit isnt too popular yet.
and there are airbags in the sides of the front seats right? when i get my fit im going to drop some brides or recaros in it if i can maintain the rest of the airbag system
does anybody know if the front seats have the same brackets as say a dc5 or ep3 or any other honda, im pretty sure there wont be aftermarket FIT seat brackets in the us for a while
any tips when i go look at them at the stealership? im looking for a sport 5sp, preferibly white, but maybe red, wouldnt mind the auto but dont want to pay an extra 900, and also the local stealerships website lists them for 15.1 retail?
good times

also, whats up the the oem stereo/climate, is the base model different than the sport or are there any other dountries with a different houseing? becaus i am planning on using a double din pioneer navigation
no other real plans besides the seats, dd navigation, just lowering springs and 15-17" te37 or advan rg or maybe something else would catch my eye, just going for a clean daily driver to hold onto for many many years

i'm w/ alberttttt use it for the economy. Some cosmetic's are alright but i wouldnt go as far as the seats. Ya i have been lookin for a while for the radio but no luck.
i dont see how seats are going to ruin my 36mpg? seats to me are gangster and functional at the same time, i cant stand soft slushy seats with no sidebolsters that you feel like your falling out of,
if anything, rims/exhaust would hurt your 36mpg and functionality of the fit before seats would, theres a reason i have not had a honda with stock seats for years now becaus they suck *******(except for itr and s2000's)
so in turn seats, wheels, lwoering springs, and navi, im just makeing the car more comfortable, appealing, and functional
thanks for the other answers
and that console was just what i was looking for its perfect

WOW a ******* economy car huh? let him do what he wants with the car there are lots of us that will be doing the k20 swap in ours and if that's what we want to do that's on us we can buy the fit for what ever we want that's whats grate about the fit you can use it for economy he can use it for show or race its a Honda enjoy it how you want and make it what you want and what dose seats have to do with the economy part of it anyway

well said there's no reason to use a car for its intended purpose i mean theres different strokes for different folks a k20 will fit in it and then you can run 13's which would be awesome but the problem would be youd lose economy for speed but i guess that's not a problem if you like to be a honda fanboy because it woudl have real i-vtec yo and it would be jdm fast.

exactly, i would rather pay like 260 bucks a month on my daily driver that gets close to 40mpg which honestly would save me like 30 bucks a week just from gas(so really its like paying 140 bucks a month for the car)
then slowly build up an itr shell that i can go nucking futs with, who wants a honda with a full cage, harnesses, and 600hp daily drivin??not to mention you cant park that kind fo a honda anywhere for more than 15 seconds without it being jacked
not to mention the fit will be like a honda civic or better in maintaining its value if you keep it in good condition

Well we probably shouldnt be. But the thing is the Civic shares a lot of parts with the Integra and the civic offers performance models (ie the Si) that are actually faster. The Fit doesnt share any go fast parts or a 'faster' option, it's meant as transportation.
I think thieves and law enforcement ARE pretty much telling us to stop modifying our cars.
I think the Fit is ideal for autocrossing. You really don't need extra power to do that, you can go ***** out in stock trim and have a blast.
