aftermarket suspension for type sh
You've got it backwards... if you use Type-SH struts, then you have to get Type-SH springs. If you use base-model struts, you have to use base-model springs. If you buy a spring/damper combo, then it doesn't matter.

If KONI doesn't make any for the Type-SH, then just get the ones that they make for the base-model and pair them with a set of springs from a base-model as well. Then it will work fine.
All-in-all, base-model dampers will work fine on a Type-SH when paired with base-model springs.

Koni Sport Yellow dampers will work with a Type SH. I know, I have them. Here's the catch, you can't use stock springs with their dampers. You must install aftermarket springs. I'm running Eibach Pro Kit springs with the Koni Sport and the combo is great. Many many others run this combo.

ok, so do i use aftermarket springs that are made for the sh, or aftermarket springs that are made for the base?

If you are using the KONI dampers, then pair them with springs fom a base-model, unless the dampers specifically say that they are for a Type-SH application ( which they shouldn't ).
