Default when do you need to line hone cam journals?

so i have a head that is fulley built.. with the camshafts out... and i was looking at a few thnigs was wondering... should i have the cam journals line honed? b4 the camshafts are installed or no?

my head has normal journal weat towards the cam gears, ive searched many of heads and have seen this wear over and over again, and was wondering if it would be good to have the journals micropolished or line honed or what?

I've had to have a couple of camshaft bores polished to clean up some scuffing and to deburr some knicks. It's a service that our head porter/performance machinist provides.

If the bores have normal wear, then you don't need to have them polished.
