ok, i am installing a b16 and was wondering what three of the senors are on the block. i am talking about the 3 in a vertical row to the left of the oil filter. the top one has one wire, the middle has two wires, and the bottom has one wire. i am pretty sure that the top one is the knock sensor, but what are the other two?

teh one with two pins is the radiator fan switch and the bottom one is oil pressure

ok but i thought that the oil pres. was on the vtec assembly. is there two sensors or somethin?

 

The one wire oil sensor on the block is for the light in the dash. The 2 wire sensor on the solenoid is for vtec.

 

but i mean are there two oil sensors? because i was talking about the one by the oil filter, if that is an oil sensor. would it make sense to have two oil sensors?

yes, one is for the oil pressure light on your dash (inaccurate/insensitve) and is located on the back of the block, leave it off and you oil light will remain 'on'

teh other is the VTEC oil pressue - not engine oil pressure, so yes it would make sense...
