Do they make aftermarket heads for this SOHC Motor?
What kind of options do they have for aftermarket cam shafts? Would you good gains from going cams without any port work on stock head?

nobody makes aftermarket heads for the d17. you can get crower cams from dezod. heres the link.

and no. you're probably not goining to see much of a gain from anything you do to the d17, excluding FI.

Like stated before, by Rennen, you won't see more than 10-15hp with standard bolt-ons. You'll need either FI, Nos, or thousands of dollars on a N/A buildup for the D17 to push more power. Dollar by Dollar, a K-series is much more cost effective.
The plan is to go FI... thinking GT3060r or maybe a T3/T4. Not totally sure yet... i'm looking around to see if anyone was as stupid as me and went FI on a stock bottom end D17. Trying to see what kinda results I would seeing. Trap speeds at what boost using what setup.
The goal is mid 12s @ 115 on a stock head/Crower Cams and turbo. Stock bottom end/tranny
