charging problems....

Default charging problems....

the battery in my 88 civic dx keeps going dead, i have replaced both the alternator and the battery but same thing keeps happening...any help is greatly appreciated

If it keeps going dead you have a "leak" somewhere in your system causing there to be a continous draw on the system. Great way to check - leave car sit with both terminals attached, take reading when you turn it off and take reading....two hours later. Then repeat test with positive terminal disconnected, off course with the car off and in park, and check two hours later.
