Default 90-93 DA brakes installed in 89 HF - brake pedal thumps to the floor

I just got the brakes finished last night

They feel wierd now, They kind of thump like the rotors are warped....

Brembo Blanks, Hawk pads, and this are next:

http://fastbrakes.com/shop/pro...d=133

I guess I have to wait until then to know what the problem is. Any other suggestions as to what it could be?

Could be anything on the hub including:

corroded alloy wheels
warped rotors
warped/damaged hub
messed up tires
improperly torqued wheels

Your best friend in this situation is a one of those dial gauges that lets you take runout and parralleism measurements of your braking/wheel system.

at first the pass side rotor was locked in place, probably because of rust, until i dropped the car down and moved it back a little it poped and was free. Now pass side rotor thumps on braking. Is my steering going to turn easier because of more wieght at the wheels? It seemd so yesterday, but again i only drove it for like 2 min.

I'm gonna drive it o work and see what happens

Bleed front and rear?

P.S. I weigh 155 and i know its not the same as an impact gun, but i was standing on my 1/2" drive socket and it tightened pretty well. The guys at the gas sation ccharge $5 to impact them....cheap bastards..

Did you tighten down your axle first before you made this decision. If the car is shaking the prop valve or a mc will not fix your problem, unless they are making the pads stick to the rotors. You should go buy a tool to diagnose the problem accurately. Much cheaper than guessing at what parts are bad. Been there done that. Good luck to all.

If I have new parts mostly, I can tell what old parts are bad. The pads that are on right now throw dust like crazy

Lug nuts need to be tightened.
