Default wheee! I am back guys!! (and with another ITR)

Hey everyone! I disapeared for a while but I am BACK! I am now living in Europe and happily married. Last Saturday I just picked up my new baby - a 1998 european ITR #1884 wheee! She's beautiful, less than 40k miles, garage kept (mint not even a single paint chip on the front)! She's mostly stock except for a wheels, crappy exhaust and intake which is being switched to Mugen intake and stock exhaust in the next week. So far.. I miss my armrest and a/c but LOVE the stock red recaros

I am so happy to be back in a ITR and it feels like I never stepped out of my last one.

On a side note, I am learning the differences between the european version and USDM version and am a bit surprised at some of the differences like the cat size, etc. I am also seeking some stock parts like front bra, rear floor mats, trunk mat, stock intake arm, armrest and more if you know anyone with any OEM parts for sale. I am coming back to the states in September and can bring the parts back with me to Holland then.

SO yeah, I look forward to catching up with you all and here are the first prelim pics of the new baby #1884

thanks for the warm welcome everyone. I have missed you guys so much and the ITR club here just isnt the same as my friends here

MugenMike - its good to see you still around! I want to chat with you about those mats! I am coming back to visit my family in September so i can hand carry them in my luggage back here hehehe We need to catch up!

George - how the hell have you been? I havent seen/talked to you in ages!

Jon - pretty cool I remember meeting you! My husband and I will be back in-town in september if you want to meet up for some brews

Jason - we were right next to Lelystad today in Almere. We were on the beach at a HUGE outdoor music festival (which is probably why I am dead tired and have a huge headache now hehe)

I am so happy to be back! My baby got herself a pimped out class 3 alarm today. Theft isnt much of a problem here (from what I have heard) on the ITR, mostly the big expensive cars are the stolen ones but I am not going to take my chances.

Welcome. I hear the Netherlands is a wonderful country. I'd like to visit that area some day.

Is the ITR badge located above the rear tail light a normal thing over there?

It really is a beautiful country here, even the people are great (and are almost all fluent in english too). But the water and canals are the highlight here for me with boats everywhere. I highly recommend a visit, and not just the tourist stuff some of the best things I have seen are not commonly known about except to the local dutch. And out of season a ticket is less than 500 bucks round trip from the USA

Oh and yeah the badge on the back comes stock above the right taillight

Cool. Sounds like a wonderful place. Peaceful. Are the rumors true about the Dutch being all blonde and really tall? Are people in general there, really healthy?

Are there alot of R owners in the Netherlands?

Gina is now famous in the Dutch Type R community.....

It's the stock steering wheel and those pedals are optional.
