doing a "engine trade"
so a guy comes up to me and asks me to swap the engines between 2 efs. one is already swapped with a b18a1 and the other has the stock motor. i figure all it would involve is guttingeverything from one car and sticking it in the other.
but i was talking to some guys and they tell me that its not that simple and it wont work blah blah blah.
it makes sence in my head that it would work, but then again ive never worked on efs before.
can anybody enlighten me on why this probably wont work and maybe point me in the right direction? thanks Zach

it really depends...for example if they're both si's with mpfi already you just swap..but if its a dx then you gotta convert to mpfi,,then if its a std you gotta convert to mpfi and also get some dx/si hubs...

depends...did they convert the dx to mpfi or did they just keep the dx intake manifold and distibutor on the d15b7?
if they converted to mpfi fuel injection already this **** should be easy for you..also have to find out if they converted the dx to obd1 or just kept it obd0...Not sure..
