I stripped my CRX for paint a while back, my temp guage worked fine before I took everything out. I put in a 92-95 motor with the 88-91 intake/exhaust manifolds, and dizzy. The motor works great but the temp guage hasn't worked since I put this motor in. I cut the wires and lenghtened them to reach the new temp sensor located at the thermostat housing, instead of on the back of the block (88-91). I tried grounding the yellow/green wire ( I think) as my book says and the needle moves up fine. I tried switching clusters and still nothing. I left the key on, took the sensor out and heated it with a torch and eventually the fan comes on so that is working fine. Anyone have ANY ideas??? When I turn the key on the needle actually goes down even further then cold a bit (slight nudge backwards). :S
