Default Accord Type R or Euro R?

ok, im tryin to get this straightened out. im usually believing that there was only 1 "type r"/ euro-r accord. people tell me there is a such thing as the Accord Type R. I usually jus think that their not saying it right and its really the Euro-R Accord. but accord to this video, it is an Accord Type R and its JDM:

http://videos.streetfire.net/s...4.htm

and my friend is telling me that there is an EDM accord known as the Euro-R Accord and a JDM accord known as the Accord Type R.

now my question is, is there an Accord Type R and a Euro-R Accord? or is it the same thing? is there both? what does an accord type r look like and what does a euro-r accord look like (show pics)?

the car in the video is an edm accord type r. it was released in uk and some parts of europe for the 99-00 years.
an accord euro r was released in japan only and are different chassis cars...
both powered by h22 variants...

Wrong. The euro r does have dual exhaust, and there is a lip kit on that car.

I think the more accurate way to describe it would be "the grass is always greener on the other side" I'm sure some people in Europe and Japan envy some of our cars the same way we envy theirs

Not having to swap an H22 into your Accord because it came stock with it = good ****.

Those are damn sexy cars, and I think if they had ever released them here in very limited quantities, just like the current 6spd Accord V6 coupe, they would have been pretty successful.

1. price
2. platform
3. limited interior space.

The accord coupe sells because it offers more of what Americans want from a DD.

I think with the current trend of factory tuned cars, it would do well. Look at the Mazdaspeed6, thats an awesome car.
