Default Y8 Intake Manifold removal from Z6

Alright since I am parting my Z6 out I need to take my Y8 intake manifold off. I have all the nuts off but the one that is right in the middle of the underside of the manifold, located underneath that convenient hole.

I have tried using a socket and taking it off from the bottom to no avail, doesn't fit with the bend on the IM. I have tried using a wrench through the hole to no avail.

Also besides those 6-7 nuts is there anything else holding it to the block?

You might need to get a special wrench if you really can't get it. Have you tried under the car and removing the im to block brace?

What kind of special wrench.

I don't see the brace, i don't think it was ever on it to begin with.

Oh **** dude, there's so many kinds of wrenches, like crescent wrenches and stuff.

If you feel like buying **** I might try a deep offset or whatev they are or mehbe a crow's foot and get at it from the side...

I just got mine down the middle from the top,

Did you get it with a wrench or socket?

I believe I got it with an open ended wrench on at an angle and then hitting it with a hammer.

I'll have to give that a whirl just as long as i can get the open end on the nut. I tried already, but I will try again.

Alright the motor is out of the car and that damn nut does not want to come off. I have tried impact gun and it doesn't even budge. Is there anyway to cut if off, but it is really hard to get to the nut the engine is sorta in the way.
